I filed for divorce. My wife has been on my company's health benefits for health insurance. Once the divorce papers are filed, there are standard restraining orders that state that you cannot cancel any insurance during the divorce period:

"Starting immediately, you and your spouse or domestic partner are restrained from cashing, borrowing against, canceling, transferring, disposing of, or changing the beneficiaries of any insurance or other coverage, including life, health, automobile, and disability, held for the benefit of the parties and their minor child or children."

But my wife just started her own health insurance through her work and no longer needs to be insured on mine. My open enrollment period is starting now, too. Am I able to remove my wife from my company's coverage now that she has her own? Or am I still restrained from making any changes?
